Binayak Sen

The release of Binayak Sen on bail by the Supreme Court is welcome. The news has come as a whiff of fresh air to human rights activists who have fought his detention on false charges by the Chhattisgarh government. Dr. Sen is a crusader against social oppression and has displayed grit and determination in fighting the wrong policies pursued by the State in the name of development.
