UGC grant for project

KOCHI: The University Grants Commission has sanctioned Rs. 43 lakh for the Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology at the Cochin University of Science and Technology under the special assistance programme. The fund will be used for the project on ‘development of polymer-based speciality composites for critical applications’.

Thomas Kurian, head of the department, is the co-ordinator of the project, according to an official communication.
