Corrections and Clarifications
The caption of a photocombo that showed the Union Council of Ministers 2009
(May 29, 2009) misspelt these names: it is Mr. Pratik Prakashbapu Patil
(Minister of State in the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public
Enterprises) and not Prateek Prakash Patil. It is Ms. Preneet Kaur (Minister
of State in the Ministry of External Affairs) and not Praneet Kaur.
The graphic that gave the names and portfolios of the Union Council of
Ministers 2009 also misspelt the name of Mr. Jitin Prasad (Minister of
State, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas). It is not Jitin Prasada.
The same graphic listed both Mr. Mohan Jatua and Mr. S. Jagathrakshakan as
Ministers of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and Mr.
S. Gandhiselvan and Mr. Dinesh Trivedi as Ministers of State in the
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. They are - as given in the press
communiquérom the office of the President and the Prime Minister's Office.
