One killed in accident

R. Kannan (23) was killed in a road accident involving a mini goods carrier and a lorry on the Tiruchi – Dindigul National Highway near Koraiyar bridge on Thursday. The deceased was the driver of mini goods carrier which was proceeding towards Ramji Nagar when the lorry collided head-on with the vehicle. In the melee, Kannan was killed on the spot. The lorry has been seized and its driver Murugesan has been cited as the accused.
