Staff Reporter
Thiruvananthapuram: The State Women’s Commission has initiated discussions with the Citizen’s Call Centre on the possibility of launching a dedicated 24-hour helpline for the commission.
Commission chairperson D. Sreedevi who visited the call centre at Palayam on Thursday for an interactive session with its executives/operators gave them an insight into the commission’s functioning.
The Citizen’s Call Centre (ph: 155300), an initiative under the IT Mission to enable better citizen-government interaction by providing critical information on various government services, has been receiving a lot of calls from the public on how to approach the commission.
