SALEM: The Chairperson and councillors of the Attur Municipality urged the district administration to ensure adequate supply of drinking water to Attur town. They came to Salem on Monday and submitted a petition in this regard to Collector J. Chandrakumar. Councillors claimed that the town was getting water supply once in 17 days. The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage board should supply about 40 lakh litres of water every day.
