Gursimran Singh shines

NEW DELHI: West Delhi Academy banked on Gursimran Singh’s all-round showing to beat Madanlal Academy by four wickets and reach the final of the Gyan Prakash Memorial cricket tournament at the Siri Fort ground here on Monday.

The scores:

Madan Lal Academy 91 in 19.1 overs (Mridul Sharma 38, Bharat Gautam 32, Gursimran Singh three for 22) lost to West Delhi Academy 94 for six in 19.1 overs (Gursimran Singh 28 n.o., Vikram Masti three for 12, Nishant Katawala three for 17).
