GULBAGA: Members of various associations on Monday urged the district in-charge Minister Lakshman Savadi to ensure that the district administration serves notice to the owners of buildings on roads taken up for widening in Gulbarga city by June 15. The associations include Hyderabad Karnataka Yuva Horata Samiti, Kannada Bhoomi, Vishwa Jyoti Partitshana and Hyderabad Karnataka Janapara Sanghrasha Samiti. President of the Hyderabad-Karnataka Yuva Horata Samiti and Kannada Bhoomi, Raju Kulgeri told presspersons here that representatives of various associations held a meeting in the city on Monday and decided to resort to various types of agitations from June 16 if notices were not served to the buildings owners by then. He urged that the adequate compensation be paid to those affected by road-widening. Representatives of various associations Lingaraj Siragapur, Nagraj Swadi, Siddanna Arali, Haji Bhagwan and Vijaykumar Tegaltippi were present.
