VIJAYAWADA: Students of Sri Chaitanya and Narayana educational institutions excelled in medical and engineering streams of the Engineering Agricultural and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)-2009, the results of which were announced on Monday. Sri Chaitanya student Krishna Teja got top marks in the city with 146 in the medicine category, while another student Hari Priya stood next with 145 marks. Narayana student K. Naveen got 149 in the city in engineering, while Sri Chaitanya student Venkateswara Rao secured 146 marks. Sri Chaitanya regional principal B. Rama Krishna said the students could not get good marks in medicine in view of the tough question paper.
