The Hindu observes ‘World No Tobacco Day’

For a cause: Volunteers of ‘The Hindu’ and Siva Sivani Institute of Management observing ‘World No Tobacco Day’ on Necklace Road on Sunday.
HYDERABAD: Marking the ‘World No Tobacco Day’ on Sunday, volunteers of The Hindu distributed the newspaper copies along with pamphlets highlighting the ill-effects of consuming tobacco and smoking. The programme was organised in association with Siva Sivani Institute of Management.
Army personnel from AOC Centre also joined The Hindu volunteers in distributing the pamphlets at Parade Grounds and Prasads Imax.
Pledge
About 150 people consisting of faculty and students of Siva Sivani Institute of Management took a pledge not to smoke and also promoted the campaign against smoking.
