Samathuvapuram to be inaugurated soon

THENI: Samathuvapuram at Lakshminaickenpatti in Uthamapalayam block will be inaugurated shortly. At present, construction was in the final stage said Collector P. Muthuveeran.
After inspecting the work here on Thursday, he said 100 houses were constructed on 10 acres at Lakshminaickenpatti. Most of the construction was over. Laying of an asphalt road was in full swing. The total cost of the project was Rs.3.32 crore.
The samathuvapuram has an overhead tank constructed at a cost of Rs.4.58 lakh and two bore wells with submersible pumps. A separate building was constructed at a cost of Rs.3 lakh for fair price shops.
The total cost of the land was Rs.7.52 lakh, he added.
