VISAKHAPATNAM: CBI officials caught red-handed Manager (quality control) K. Ravi Kumari and a Class IV employee Jeeva Ratnam of Food Corporation of India at Tenali while they were demanding and accepting a bribe on Friday. Superintendent of Police of CBI (Anti-Corruption Bureau) here G. Nageswara Rao said in a press release that Ms. Ravi Kumari and Mr. Jeeva Ratnam demanded a bribe of Rs. 1,800 from the complainant for accepting two truck loads of rice (weighing 20 metric tons) supplied to the FCI under levy. Searches are on at the FCI godown and Ms. Ravi Kumari’s residence.
