Kozhikode: Ramco Systems has launched the first ‘OnDemand’ enterprise resource planning (ERP) software in the State. Announcing the launch at Hotel Gateway here, Ramco Systems head of sales (South and West India) R. Sukumar said Ramco OnDemand ERP was the first full-fledged ERP software to be released as a service in India. “It is delivered as a subscription service to different business ventures. “It provides real-time access to business information,” he said. According to Mr. Sukumar, the software could be used to streamline and integrate multiple functions and systems into one solution. Mr. Sukumar, who claimed that Ramco could take care of all the IT infrastructure, maintenance and support needs of its clients, said the product already had an ‘appealing range’ of clients including media houses. “The client firms need only an internet connection and the subscription rate is quite affordable,” he said. Explaining the features of the product, Mr. Sukumar said the software was configured to customers’ business requirements and would take less than a week to be deployed.
