Bio-engineering block to be opened at CMC

VELLORE: The Bioengineering Block of Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, will be inaugurated by N. Ram, Editor-in-Chief, The Hindu, on Tuesday.
The function will be held at the Rehabilitation Institute of the CMC in Bagayam here at 12 p.m.
Mr. Ram will later address students of the CMC at the Ida Scudder Auditorium on the campus.
According to a release, in keeping with the basic goals of the institution, the driving force in establishing the department was the desire to make available locally the best healthcare to everyone . Postgraduate students in the department work closely with departments in the medical college and hospital.
