Counselling from today for teachers seeking transfer

HASSAN: The counselling of primary and high school teachers seeking transfers will begin from Monday and conclude by June 16. Deputy Director of Public Instruction K.C. Krishna Shetty said here on Sunday that counselling for the mutual transfer of high school teachers would begin at the DDPI’s office from noon on Monday. On Tuesday, counselling for the mutual transfer of primary school teachers would begin at 11 a.m. On June 15, counselling for request transfer of primary school teachers will be held and on June 16, counselling for high school teachers seeking a request transfer would be held.

Mr. Shetty said the eligible teachers’ list as well the rejected applications list has been displayed at the respective block education office as well as at the DDPI’s office.

Objections could be filed with the relevant documents before June 11.

Mr. Shetty said that for mutual transfers as well for request transfers, teachers should be present in person and orders would be issued only after they give a consent letter.
