Fire in chemical godown creates panic

A fire in a chemical godown near Bandar locks created panic among the residents on Sunday morning. The fire broke out from the locked godown belonged to Suvarna Chemicals and Scientific Equipment around 10 a.m. and the residents informed the fire station. It took about an hour for the firemen to control the fire. It was suspected that an electric short-circuit could be the reason for the fire.
