NPOL honours bright students

Kochi: The Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) in Thrikkakara has organised a merit evening to honour students from the Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya and wards of NPOL employees who have secured top scores in the recent Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations for Standard X and XII.

District Collector M. Beena, who was the chief guest on the function, distributed the ‘NPOL Awards for Academic Excellence’ to top rank holders in the CBSE examinations and the five students who have won commendable ranks in the IIT–JEE 2009.
