BIDAR: Members of the district unit of the Dalit Panthers staged a protest in Naubad area on the outskirts of Bidar city on Monday urging tahsildar Sharanappa Satyampet to take steps to set up a primary health centre (PHC) there. In a memorandum, the members said that Mr. Satyampet had visited Naubad and promised that a PHC would be set up but no steps had been taken to do so. The protest was led by district unit president of Dalit Panthers Vijaykumar Gaikwad. — Staff Correspondent
