Uniform rate for food in hotels

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Food and Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran has directed officials and hoteliers to fix uniform rates for standard meals, ‘dosa,’ ‘idli,’ ‘vada’ and coffee. Addressing a meeting of the officials of the Food and Civil Supplies, Local Administration, Revenue and Tourism departments and representatives of the Hotel and Restaurant Association here on Monday, Mr. Divakaran said model hotels would be opened in all districts to sell food items at uniform rates.
