District Malaria Officer caught in ACB net

MACHILIPATNAM: Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths on Monday caught Krishna District Malaria Officer R. Adinarayana while he was taking a bribe of Rs.6,000 from an employee of the same office.
ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police Ch. Rama Umamaheswara Sarma, who conducted the raid , told reporters that they were tipped off by Kondapalli Srinivasa Rao, a mechanic of the same office who complained that Adinarayana was demanding Rs.6,000 to clear a bill of Rs.12,700.
The ACB sleuths laid the trap and swung into action the moment the money was handed over to Adinarayana.
