L-G orders reshuffle in Delhi police

NEW DELHI: Lieutenant-Governor Tejendra Khanna on Monday ordered a reshuffle in the Delhi police. While some officers have been promoted, others have been transferred to different units.

According to a Raj Bhavan release, Satyendra Garg, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), and Ujjwal Mishra, Additional CP (Special Branch), have been promoted and posted as Joint CP (Operations) and Joint CP (SB) respectively.

M. A. Sayed, on repatriation from New Delhi Municipal Council, has been posted as Joint CP (Police Headquarters) and S. Vasudev Rao, on transfer from Puducherry, has been posted as Joint CP (Riot Cell). Kewal Singh, Additional CP (PHQ), has been transferred and posted as Additional CP (Police Control Room). Dheeraj Kumar, who was looking after the work of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police-II, North District, will now look after the work of Additional DCP (PCR), while Rajesh Kumar, DCP (Departmental Enquiry Cell), has been transferred as Additional DCP/PCR (Central Police Control Room).

B. K. Mishra, Additional DCP (PCR), has been posted as DCP (DE Cell). Sharat Kumar Sinha, ACP (Traffic), will now look after the work of Additional DCP (General Administration), while Pramod Kumar Mishra, ACP (EOW), will look after the work of Additional DCP (Economic Offences Wing).

Sanjay Kumar Tyagi, ACP (Crime), has been designated Additional DCP (Crime), while Ashok Malik who was ACP (Personal Security Officer) Rashtrapati Bhavan, will now look after the work of Additional DCP (PSO) Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Pramod Singh Kushwah, ACP/EOW, will look after the work of Additional DCP-II, North District.
