Delivery boy killed by Blueline bus

NEW DELHI: A teenaged delivery boy was killed and a colleague seriously injured when a Blueline bus hit them from behind in Vasant Vihar here on Monday night.

Eighteen-year-old Sagar was returning to the restaurant after making a delivery along with Vipin when the bus hit their scooter from behind near a traffic intersection around 10 p.m. Sagar, who was riding the pillion, died on the spot while his colleague suffered serious injuries. The bus has been impounded, but the driver fled.

Sagar lived in a rented accommodation in Munirka along with Vipin.
