Collector inspects NREGS works

KURNOOL: Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena inspected the NREGS works at Yerraguntla and Obulapuram near Dhone on Wednesday. He expressed satisfaction over reclaiming of over 220 acres involving 70 Scheduled Caste farmers at Yerraguntla. The farmers were allotted the land 30 years ago but could not take up cultivation due to unsuitability of land. Last year, the farmers were given financial assistance under RIDF-13 programme to the tune of Rs 36.9 lakh. –Special Correspondent
