CHENNAI: The State government on Wednesday issued orders relating to transfer and postings of police officers in six districts. C. Maheshwari, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Secretariat Security, Chennai Police, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Thiruvarur District vice Amit Kumar Singh transferred and posted as Commandant, Tamil Nadu Special Police VIII Battalion, New Delhi, vice Maheshwar Dayal transferred. Mr. Maheshwar Dayal, Commandant, Tamil Nadu Special Police VIII Battalion, New Delhi, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Nagapattinam district, vice Ashwin M. Kotnis transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore District, vice Pradip Kumar transferred. Mr. Pradip Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore district, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Ramanthapuram district, vice K.A. Senthil Velan transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Civil Supplies, CID, Chennai, vice R. Elango transferred. Mr. Elango, Superintendent of Police, Civil Supplies, CID, Chennai is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Chennai Sub-urban, Chennai, vice D. Krishnamoorthy transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police Virudhunagar district, vice T. Senthil Kumar transferred. Mr. Senthil Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar district, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Tuticorin district, vice Deepak M. Damor, deputed to the Centre.
