NEW DELHI: Delhi defeated Maharashtra 10-4 in a boys’ league encounter on the opening day of the 27th junior National softball championship at Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) on Wednesday.

The results: Boys: Punjab bt Indian Oil Corporation 12-0; Delhi bt Maharashtra 10-4; Madhya Pradesh bt Puducherry 10-0; Kerala bt Karnataka 11-2.
