Subramaniam-Anandan pair wins

R.N. Subramaniam and C. Anandan won the weekly pair bridge event at T. Nagar Social Club here on Wednesday with a score of 60.42 per cent playing North-South.

Guthirajasekhar and Vinodkumar won from the East-West direction.

National u-9 chess

The Tamil Nadu State Chess Association will conduct the 23rd National under-9 boys’ and girls’ championships at the J.N. Stadium from June 14. Over 250 players from 20 States are expected to take part.

Each State association affiliated to the All India Chess Federation will have two entries in each category.
