SALEM: Commissioner of Treasuries and Accounts Mohan Pyare inspected various activities carried out through the treasury offices in Salem and Namakkal districts here recently. He visited the sub-treasury offices in Rasipuram and Namakkal and the district treasury office. He also interacted with the representatives of the retired government employees and agents selling stamp papers and listened to their grievances. Mr. Mohan Pyare also reviewed the new medical insurance scheme introduced for the government employees and also spoke with the officials in the private hospitals, which were approved by the government to participate in the scheme. Interacting with the managements of the hospital, he asked them to inform the department if they faced any problems in getting insurance claims under the scheme. SittingAt a joint sitting held in Nattanmai Kazhagam building in Salem district, he discussed the issue regarding the disposal of 100 audit paras, which were pending for a long time. All the audit objections were cleared during the meeting, a press release said.
