Bellary Ministers absent
Special Correspondent
Bangalore: The three Ministers from Bellary — G. Karunakara Reddy (Revenue), G. Janardhan Reddy (Tourism) and B. Sriramulu (Health) — did not attend the Cabinet meeting held here on Thursday, and neither did three other Ministers said to be associated with them.
Minister for Home V.S. Acharya said the Ministers from Bellary had informed Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa that they would not be able to attend since they would be going to Tirupati. They are stated to have offered a diamond crown to Lord Venkateshwara there on Thursday.
Two important subjects, one pertaining to the Revenue Ministry and the other to the Health Ministry were discussed at the Cabinet meeting and approved.
