CBI conducts raids
NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at 14 places in the Capital on Thursday in connection with two cases registered against four engineers of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for allegedly permitting large-scale unauthorised construction in its South Zone.
The CBI purportedly found that Executive Engineer B. S. Yadav, Assistant Engineers Anil Kumar and Sunil Dabar along with Junior Engineer Rajesh Rohila had allowed rampant unauthorised construction in the South Zone.
Following registration of the case, the CBI sleuths carried out searches at the offices and residences of the accused besides in unauthorised buildings in Arjun Nagar and Chhattarpur Extension.
