Man shot at, robbed of 25 lakh

NEW DELHI: A businessman was shot at and robbed of Rs.25 lakh in cash by four men in a car at Peeragarhi in West Delhi on Thursday night. Around 11-15 p.m., 36-year-old Vinay Goel was on his way home in his car when another car intercepted him and the occupants tried to snatch his bag containing cash. He offered resistance, at which one of them fired at Vinay injuring him in the right shoulder. The robbers then made off with the booty. Vinay has been admitted to Maharaja Agrasen Hospital.
