Police chiefs of six metros to meet in Bangalore

BANGALORE: The Bangalore police will shortly host a meeting of six city police commissioners to discuss the resources to tackle terror attacks. A proposal will be submitted to the Union Home Ministry to seek funds under the Mega City Project.

Commissioner of Police Shankar M. Bidari will host the meeting in which his counterparts from Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Kolkata will participate. The Union Home Ministry started the Mega City Project to address the special problems of police .
