SSLC toppers honoured

PALANI: Toppers of SSLC examinations among wards of Sri Lankan refugees in seven camps in the district were honoured at a function held at a refugee camp at Puliampatti near here on Saturday.

The honoured were Rinu Santhini at Pudhupatti camp, Vinudasan at Adiyanuthu camp and Karthikeyan of Puliampatti camp. While the first rank holder received a cash award of Rs.2,500, second and third rank holders got Rs.1,500 and Rs.1,000 respectively. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Q branch) D. Arulanandhan and Inspector T. Prabhakaran honoured the toppers.
