Reception to Ahamed

KOCHI: The State committee of the Railway Advertising Canvassers’ Association will accord a reception to Union Minister of State for Railways E. Ahamed at the Ernakulam Junction railway station on Monday.

The association president, Reju Joy, said that they would submit a list of recommendations to the Minister, on bettering public amenities with the help of sponsors.

“For example, adequate number of seats and toilets can be readied at railway stations with the Railways not bearing any burden, if companies are allowed to display advertisements over them.”
