Man found dead

Tirupur: A knitwear firm employee M. Parthasarathy (32) was found dead with injuries in a pond at Ammapalayam – Rakkiyapalayam junction on Saturday morning. According to police, the victim from Ganapathy in Coimbatore district was staying in Tirupur and was working in a knit wear firm. Police suspect the injuries should have been due to an assault by a gang when the victim was returning to his room at night after work. Anupparpalayam police recovered a helmet and a wooden log.
