Constable held

Dharmapuri: A constable attached to Kuruparapalli Police Station in Krishnagiri district was arrested on Sunday on charges of stealing a car belonging to a police inspector.

An inquiry found that constable R. Senthil Kumar had “stolen the car to take revenge” against Special Branch Inspector C. Murali. The car had been abandoned in a ditch near Thoppur Highway.

Senthil Kumar was produced before N. Rajamanickam, Judicial Magistrate I in Dharmapuri and remanded for 15 days.
