Youth goes missing from house in Madambakkam

TAMBARAM: A youth has been reported missing from his house at Madambakkam near Tambaram since Wednesday.

The police said V. Rahul (18) recently joined a private college in Chengalpattu. He left home on Wednesday and did not return. His parents have lodged a complaint with the Selaiyur police.

Gold jewellery weighing about 30 sovereigns have reportedly stolen from a marriage hall at Chromepet.

Srinath, a doctor hailing from Andhra Pradesh, had come for a relative’s wedding. He had kept some jewellery in a suitcase and locked the room. On Saturday evening, the family members found the suitcase missing.
