House burgled

Unidentified persons broke into a house at Suganthi Nagar near Oomachikulam and decamped with gold and cash when the inhabitants were away. The police said that the residents who had been to their native place in Nagercoil on Thursday, returned on the evening of Saturday. On their return, they found that the front door was broken open and jewellery weighing four sovereigns and Rs. 2,000 in cash were missing in the almirah.
