HYDERABAD: The State government has transferred Collectors of 11 districts in the first reshuffle of IAS officers after the Congress took over the reins for the second time. Of these, new Collectors had been appointed to seven districts while four other IAS officers transferred from their existing postings. Accordingly, J. Samal Rao has been appointed as Collector of Visakhapatnam, Vani Prasad (West Godavari), Kantilal Dande (Prakasam), V. Seshadri (Chittoor), Sam Rizvi (Nalgonda), L. Sashidhar (Medak) and K. Sunitha (Nizamabad). Medak Collector Piyush Kumar had been transferred to Krishna district replacing Sridhar who has been transferred to Warangal. Warangal Collector Janardhan Reddy was transferred to Anantapur and Nizamabad Collector Ramanjaneyulu to Guntur. Khammam Joint Collector Raghunandan was transferred as Director, DWCRA, in Rural Development Commissioner’s office and Nellore Joint Collector J. Vijaya Kumar was moved as Additional Project Director of Outer Ring Road in HMDA, while Anantapur Joint Collector T. Chiranjeevulu had been shifted to Mahabubnagar. Vijayawada sub-collector Gaurav Uppal was transferred as Guntur Joint Collector on promotion while Transco officer on special duty Saurab Gaur had been moved to Nellore as Joint Collector. The government also announced appointment of A. Satya Prasad and A. Sudarshan Reddy as additional advocates general.
