Telemedicine centre in Davangere

DAVANGERE: Shamanur Shivashankarappa, MLA, said that through telemedicine hi-tech medical facilities could be given to the poor at their doorsteps at a nominal cost. Inaugurating the Parvathamma Shivashankarappa Sparsha Telemedicine Centre here on Sunday, Mr. Shivashankarappa said that through telemedicine, poor patients could be treated in consultation with expert doctors.

Mr. Shivashankarappa thanked Sparsha Hospital, a Bangalore-based orthopaedic hospital, for setting up a telemedicine centre here.
