Lucknow: In a bid to meet shortage of teachers in state-run primary schools, the Uttar Pradesh Government will appoint 45,000 teachers before the new academic session starts next month. Announcing this, Basic Education Minister Dharm Singh Saini said special training will be conducted for the teachers through Block Resource Centre and they will be evaluated to ensure that they take classes properly. In order to improve quality of education, it had been decided to conduct proper examination for students of Class I to IV, he said while inaugurating the new website of his department. The Minister said along with the students, evaluation of teachers would be done to ensure that they take classes regularly and properly. - PTI
