Allahabad: About eight persons were injured in a clash on Monday following a dispute between a building owner and his tenants, who refused to vacate the place, even as people alleged that police remained mute spectators to the incident. Police said building owner Lalu Kesarwani and his men went to a general store at Mutthiganj here run by his tenants and asked them to vacate the complex immediately. However, the occupants refused saying the dispute over occupation was pending before the Allahabad High Court. Agitated owner and his men allegedly assaulted the tenants.
