White water rafting in the Cauvery

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Are you an adventure buff and ready to experience the adrenalin rush on high waters? The arrival of the monsoon provides you with an opportunity to indulge in white water rafting in the Cauvery river at Galibore.

About 90 km from here and nestled amid serene forests of the Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary, Galibore Fishing Camp, managed by Jungle Lodges and Resorts, offers an excellent daytrip on weekends for those tied up with work.

“While we are starting kayaking immediately, rafting will commence in a fortnight. To suit the needs of adventure seekers, we have devised five packages,” Bharath P.G. of Outback Adventures told The Hindu.

Apart from kayaking and white water rafting, Outback Adventures will offer trekking and rappelling for adventure enthusiasts. Details can be had on Ph: 9886284777.
