Loans disbursed

THENI: Loans to the tune of Rs.35 lakh was disbursed to 25 self-help groups to expand their business activities under Canara Bank’s SHG direct lending scheme.

Disbursing loans here on Monday, Collector P. Muthuveeran said Rs.55.14 crore was disbursed to 6,845 groups in the district so far. The disbursal was more than the annual target of Rs.35.00 crore.
