Minor girl rescued

SANGAREDDY: The Ramayampet police on Tuesday rescued a minor tribal girl who was married to an elderly person. According to sources, the parents of 15-year-old girl got her married to one Mamchand at Jangarai in Chinnashankarampet mandal two days back. Late, on Monday night Mamchand tried to molest her following which she raised an alarm. Neighbours who came to her rescue, alerted the police. A case was registered against Mamchand and the parents of the minor girl. –Staff Reporter
