Measures by Health Department to control swine flu in Gurgaon

CHANDIGARH: Though no case of swine flu has been reported from Gurgaon so far, the Health Department has taken all measures to control the H1N1 influenza virus in the district.

An official spokesman said here on Tuesday that a separate ward has been set up in the Gurgaon Civil Hospital for such cases.

According to the Civil Surgeon, Dr. S. S. Dalal, a team of three doctors has been constituted to identify and provide treatment to swine flu cases.

He said if anyone feels difficulty in breathing along with cough and cold for three days continuously he/she should be got checked for swine flu.

He further appealed to the public to report any cases of swine flu to the Civil Surgeon or the district administration so that preventive measures could be taken in time and the patients given proper treatment.
