PUDUCHERRY: A new branch office of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) will be opened for defrayal of cash benefits to ESI beneficiaries of Puducherry and Karaikal. The new office will start functioning from June 25 at Plot No. 2, First Floor, Padmini Nagar Main Road, Padmini Nagar, Villianur. The areas comprising all revenue villages of Villianur commune, Nettapakkam commune and Thirubhuvanai commune will come under the purview of the new branch office. The ESI needs of stakeholders of these areas were handled by the Gandhi Nagar and Mudaliarpet branch offices so far.
