‘Process petitions without delay’

SALEM: The district administration conducted a grievances redressal day meeting for pensioners at the Old Nattanmai Kazhagam building here on Thursday.

Review

Director (Pension) Rajendran, participating in the meeting, reviewed the action taken on the grievance petitions submitted by the pensioners.

He also enquired about 128 petitions, which were pending in various departments, during the meeting.

Explanation

He sought explanation from the officials from the departments concerned for not taking action on these petitions. He urged the officials to process the grievance petitions without delay.

Earlier, he received petitions from the participants of the meeting.

PA to Collector (Accounts) G. Venkatraman, Additional Treasury officer Charles and senior officials were present.
