NTADCL proposes water supply to Coimbatore

COIMBATORE: The New Tirupur Area Development Corporation (NTADCL), the special purpose vehicle formed under a public-private partnership to supply water to the processing units in Tirupur, has come out with a scheme to supply water to the industries here.

The industries could collectively invest the capital needed to lay the pipeline, construct the pump house and other facilities. The company would reimburse the capital invested to the industries by offering discount in the water charges.

An official at the company said it was ready to supply about 30 million litres a day.
