‘People can question Cabinet decisions’

Staff Correspondent

TORANGAL (BELLARY DT.): Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah has criticised Health Minister Sriramulu for his statement that “nobody has the moral right to comment on the decision taken in the Cabinet and it is binding on all” while reacting to criticism against withdrawal of cases against Reddy brothers. “I think Mr. Sriramulu is not aware of law. In a democracy, it is people who are supreme and not the Cabinet. The people have the right to question Cabinet decisions,” he said.

He was responding to questions of presspersons during a brief halt at the Jindal airport on Sunday. He took exception to the decision on withdrawal of cases.
