One killed in accident
NEW DELHI: A salesman was killed and two sustained minor injuries in a road accident in Sunder Nagar here on Saturday.
Owais Kamli (22), who was a salesman in a Kashmiri shawls shop in Le Meridien Hotel, was on his way back home along with his friend Mohammad Shaheem in an auto-rickshaw around 9:30 p.m. when a tempo hit them at a traffic intersection.
Owais was seriously injured and later died at AIIMS Trauma Centre. Mohammad Shaheem and auto-driver Naveen were discharged after first aid.
The tempo driver, Ram Avatar, has been arrested.
Owais was a resident of Jangpura Extension.
